We are happy to announce that HJOG (the Journal of the Hellenic Obstetrics and Gynecology Society) has been evaluated by Scopus succesfuly and all articles will be cited on Scopus database indexes. The editor in chief as well as the editorial team of HJOG would like to thank researchers that supported our journal by submitting their articles and by contributing to the review process. With their help our journal was accepted for indexing in Scopus!

Scopus provides free access in registered users and is accessible through Scopus Preview. Researchers may use the preview function of Scopus during their research, to identify researchers and become informed about the citations as well as the citation index (metrics) of included authors.

Scopus is currently, the largest database of scientific abstracts, peerreviewed articles, books and conference proceedings. This way it provides a spherical review of current scientific advances in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social science and art.

HJOG is the official journal of the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is a peer-reviewed open access journal that publishes editorials, reviews, original articles, short communications, case reports, research letters, correspondence and letters to the editor in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

Its aim is to publish innovative research in all subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology including assisted reproduction, gynecologic oncology, obstetrics, gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound in order to help deliver evidence-based information. The journal aims to attract a world-wide readership by publishing articles that provide direct implications for current clinical practice.
